Global Earth Energy and Aqua Solar Limited Agree on Multi-Year, Multi-Million Dollar Contract
RCI Solar Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary by Global Earth Energy [NASDAQ:GLER] has entered into an agreement with Aqua Solar Limited. RCI Solar is a major North American provider of renewable energy solutions for residential, commercial and industrial sectors, while Aqua Solar (located in Woodstock, Ontario Canada), is a designs and manufactures solar thermal and solar photo voltaic(PV) products. As a joint venture, both companies hope to meet the new demand in government funded renewable energy programs.
The companies hope that programs such as FIT and Ontario microfit will speed up the use of renewable energy locally across Ontario. RCI/Aqua Solar projects that meet the program’s eligibility criteria will get a long term contract for payment of electricity produced from the renewable energy project, and a fixed price for duration of the contract. As of July 1, 2010, Aqua Solar will acquire product orders worth around $1,000,000 from RCI Solar for the calendar year.
