Loomstate – Green is the New Glam
We’ve all heard the horror stories about sweatshops and child labor in clothing production, but has it ever concerned you if clothing manufacturers consider the environment while keeping you trendy? If you answered “yes” to that question, then you should know a little about a label called LoomState. Amid rising concerns about the environment worldwide, the fashion industry is now making its own effort to be green by incorporating organic materials into design.
LoomState is a very unique brand of casual wear and accessories marked by the innovation of being in-style and at the same time being green. Designers Rogan Gregory and Scott Mackinlay founded Loomstate Organic in 2004. It is a brand of casuals manufactured using environmentally and socially responsible methods of production. It is a healthy and eco-friendly brand using natural color grown cottons.
Loomstate designs clothes for women and men that are inspired by classic casual style and founded on respect for Mother Nature. Each piece is created to lived-in; character and comfort achieving eternal style rooted in social and environmental sustainability. The corporate philosophy has been met with some success as well, with the brand marketing its products across the full spectrum of retailers from Barney’s New York to Urban Outfitters and even Target.
